SHOULD THE NUMBER OF MEN SHE HAS SLEPT WITH MATTER?

Shawn

On a personal basis, I think society has played a fast one on women, as it seems absolutely okay for a man to have as many women as he can and still play saint and even be the judge or rather point accusing fingers at women who haven’t even clocked close to his figures.

On a personal basis, I might also view a woman who has been with a large number of men with a sentimental eye because of the way society has directly or indirectly instilled that mentality in us; but in reality, it shouldn’t be so.

Marrying a virgin is not an assurance that she wouldn’t cheat on you in the future, same as being with a woman who was once promiscuous.

What matters most is the present; if she’s still promiscuous then it matters a lot, but if she has changed from her past life then it absolutely doesn’t matter. Sometimes we tend to use the past to judge a person rather than the present. A man once told me that what a lady has done in the past should remain in the past, and what should really matter to the man is what she’s doing in the present.

Also, a lot has to depend on the man; if he cannot forget the past then he cannot, there should be no reason forcing it. If he can’t let go of the fact that she’s been with someone else before settling down with her then he’s probably made a mistake of settling down with her, because you wouldn’t have enough trust in that marriage/relationship, and you would tend to base everything on a non-existent past.

One huge question I’d love to ask is; ‘what really is the acceptable number of men a woman must have been with before deciding she’s worth settling down with?’

A careful observation would show you that most men who tend to dwell on what a lady has done in the past are actually the kind of men who have done a lot with many women and are probably still promiscuous.

Final words — choose a lady because you love her for who she is in the present not because of who she was in the past.
