IS IT OKAY FOR A WOMAN TO ASK A MAN OUT?

Well, I think it’s not ok for a lady to ask a man out. It’s not ladylike and it’s not in line with nature’s arrangement. The man is naturally intended take the lead; he should be the one to initiate most talks or events in relationship(s).

Men like to be in charge; it’s in our nature, so it may make one feel somewhat inadequate when a lady takes up the role of a man by making a relationship proposal—most men wouldn’t have any of that.

Again, one of the reasons it’s not right for a woman to ask a man out is because the society today believes women should be sought after by men, and not the other way round; mostly because women are thought to be reserved and patient so it’s usually perceived to be overly desperate when women ask men out. Personally, I do not really appreciate a woman walking up to me to ask me out; it’s a little weird. If you like me, there are a lot of ways you can pass the message across without being too direct. You can give me hints (I’ll decode your intent, just like any smart man would), and I’ll take it up from there. I usually find it difficult to appreciate any woman that’s bold enough to walk up to a man and straight-up tells him she digs him because I always feel women like that are not trust-worthy—but then, there may be exceptions.

What’s your take on the subject: is it ok for a woman to ask the man out, not too ok or a combination of both?
