BEING ALONE IS BETTER THAN BEING IN A TERRIBLE RELATIONSHIP

Many people fear being alone and would rather be in any kind of relationship than being alone. Is this really the kind of attitude we should have when it comes to having a relationship?

According to a study from the University of Michigan, when it comes to your mental health, being alone is better than being in bad company.

The study which was led by Psychiatrist Dr Alan Teo found that people with unsupportive or critical spouses were significantly more likely to be depressed than people who were not in a serious relationship.

The researchers found that the quality of a relationship matters more than quantity when it comes to depression.

To arrive at this conclusion, the researchers surveyed 4,642 American adults between the ages of 25 and 75.

So for the sake of your mental health, it’s recommended you are alone than be with a terrible partner.
