It’s really important you pay attention to your underwear because certain underwear mistakes you make can be bad for your health.

Below are 5 underwear mistakes that are bad for your health

1. WEARING UNDERWEAR AT NIGHT

Wearing underwear at night isn’t something you should be doing. From the perspective of breathing and airing your lady part, it’s really important you sleep without underwear.

2. WEARING TOO-TIGHT UNDERWEAR

If you wear too-tight underwear, it’s a habit you should quit as it promotes chaffing of the skin and vaginal irritation.

3. NOT USING COTTON UNDERWEAR

If you don’t use cotton underwear, then you are making a huge mistake. It’s important you avoid underwear with synthetic or silk fabric as they are not breathable which increases the risk of moisture being trapped and retained, which can create yeast or bacterial infection.

4. G-STRINGS

You might love wearing G-strings but you need to understand that if you have propensity to get yeast or bacterial infection, you need to avoid G-strings. Because G-strings have more contact with the vaginal or vulval area, it can be irritating. This doesn’t mean ladies should dump G-strings altogether, it’s about finding the right type for you that won’t cause you discomfort.

5. NOT CHANGING YOUR UNDERWEAR AT LEAST TWICE A DAY

If you are the sweaty type, you need to change your underwear at least twice a day. You also should change your underwear as soon as possible after working out. A warm and moist environment is the perfect place for yeast to grow.

So ensure you don’t make these mistakes.
