When your partner prevents you from having access to his/her phone, you are prevented from having access to a part of your partner’s life you may feel more secure being let in.

When you have a partner who prevents you from accessing his/her phone, it shows you are on the outside of something important. Your partner shouldn’t only be open when it’s convenient for him/her, your partner needs to practice openness at all times.

3.  YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR PARTNER

Your partner shouldn’t be protective over the contents of his/her phone except he or she is different from who he/she claims to be. When you date a partner that hides his/her phone from you, it simply means you don’t know your partner. If your partner is afraid of you seeing something you wouldn’t like in his/her phone, then you are not dating the right person.

Why should your partner even bother to prevent you from accessing his/her phone if he or she isn’t doing something shady? If your partner isn’t doing something shady on his or her phone, there’s zero prerogative to try to keep things from you.
