Who’s a unique man? A unique man is the man who stands out — he does things differently, he acts differently, he’s the perfect definition of a gentleman and even more. He’s a rare breed and he’s the type of man every man should strive to be.
I’d always maintain that there is no perfect man or perfect woman, but you have to agree that there are certain qualities that just make a man extraordinary.
Well, enough of the scribbles; let me share the qualities of that unique man.
1. HE’S PATIENT
Patience is one trait that’s lacking in many relationships — a lot of men are impatient, and the women as well. For love to exist in a relationship, patience has to exist as well. Patience is that trait that would keep you loving your partner and would keep you going in your relationship even through the fights and misunderstandings. Patience is a key relationship quality; it can keep a marriage for over decades — patience is pure and patience is kind. A unique man understands that a relationship cannot be successful without patience, and he’s a patient man to the core.
2. HE’S FAITHFUL
I don’t even need to check the stats to know that a lot of men cheat on their partners. The unique man stands out, he doesn’t see cheating as an option; he knows that cheating has no place in a relationship; he understands that cheating is being insensitive, immature and being unfair to a woman who probably has chosen to stick to him and remain faithful.
3. HE WORKS TO KEEP THE RELATIONSHIP GOING DAILY
A relationship is a job and when in it, there is no role for part-time — you’re either in or you aren’t — you can’t have a successful relationship if you don’t work hard to make it successful. A unique man doesn’t take short cuts; he values his relationship and puts in efforts every day to make his relationship a happy one.
4. HE’S HONEST
How many men can really acknowledge to being honest in a relationship? A unique man knows he has to be honest to win his lady’s trust. Trust isn’t given, it is earned; you don’t demand it, you work for it. Your ways, your actions are what make you either trustworthy or untrustworthy; a unique man is straightforward in his ways — he avoids the petty lies. With him, you know his yea is yea and his nay is nay. This is a hard quality to build, but it would only take a unique man to build it. Are you?
5. HE’S AN UNDERSTANDING MAN
Some men would rather have things their way, some would rather be unwilling to take compromise, and to many – they’re always right. A unique man loves to put himself in his partner’s position, he loves to communicate, he doesn’t make decisions alone, he doesn’t believe he’s right at all times and he takes compromise. All these make him a more understanding man.
A unique man loves his lady; he accepts her and does the right things to make her happy. He isn’t self-centred, full of himself and nonchalant. He might have his flaws, he might not be perfect but he’s willing to improve on himself daily, and he’s ready to inhibit the qualities that would make him a better man for his lady — that’s what makes him unique.
