There is no such thing as a perfect man, because nobody is flawless, however it is possible for one to be near-perfect, and better than the average person. This is what I mean when I say ‘ideal’.
For me the ideal man isn’t the perfect man, but the one who is a class above every other man. He is not flawless, but he strives to be, and he is the kind of man majority of women want to have in their life.
Now, check out some of the things that make him stand out from the pack, and why I think he is ideal.
1. HE’S CONFIDENT
The ideal man is very confident in his abilities, what he has, and can achieve. He’s the kind of man who sees the positives in any situation, even when there are clear signs to the contrary. His confidence is infectious, and all who are around him see hope in hopelessness. And in marriage, he is not the type to be intimidated by a woman’s success, because he knows his place and worth.
2. HE IS NOT AN APPEARANCE FREAK
The ideal man usually looks beyond what the eyes can see when he sets out to date or get married. He looks for a personality that can match his own, instead of a pretty face and body because he knows that those things do not quite matter. A man who considers physical beauty ahead of a good personality has a lot of growing up to do.
3. HE IS PRINCIPLED AND STRAIGHTFORWARD
If he says it’s blue, then, it’s blue, and if he says it’s black, it’s definitely black. The ideal man is a person of his words. He has standards he lives by, and continually tries to keep them. He is trustworthy, and cannot betray a friend for anything. If he dates, he sticks to one woman. He is not the type to run around.
4. HE IS ROMANTIC AND CARING TO A FAULT
If he remembers your birthday and anniversary, and knows to leave you lovely notes/surprise gifts, he is the ideal man. An ideal man knows how to balance his work and his relationship/marriage. He cares for his woman continually, and would never miss a chance to let her know how much he loves her. Any man who does not know how to spoil his woman is just wrong.
5. HE MAKES HIS WOMAN BETTER
The primary reason for dating/marriage is to have someone to share your life with, as well as learn a lot from them. When you are in a relationship that lacks this basic benefit, then it’s just a waste of time on the wrong person. With the ideal man, you are sure to be better with each passing day/moment because he’d ensure it. He’d encourage you, support you, and bring the best out of you.
And those are the qualities I think any real man should possess. Anything short of it is just not enough. Ladies, if you must date/marry, make sure he is the ideal man.
