Most arguments between couples is about money and according to a survey published in the Forum for Family and Consumer Issues, finances proved to be the leading cause of conflict in marriage, with 39 percent of respondents listing it as their primary issue and 54 percent as their secondary issue.

1. CONFLICTING SPENDING HABITS:
Couples with conflicting spending habits tend to have money problems that can ruin marriages. According to a study, penny pinchers and reckless spenders tend to marry the other, but these couples report unhappier marriages than those in which both spouses had similar spending habits. I am not saying you shouldn’t have a partner with a different spending habit but the key here is managing the disparity in spending between both couples.
2. HIDING DEBTS:
Hiding debts from your partner is another mistake couples make about money which can have a negative impact on their marriage. We need to understand hiding debts from your partner can be harmful as infidelity and it’s really important to be open about your finances with your partner.
