According to experts from the University of Guelph, in Canada, the true secret to staying young forever is exercise.
The study, published in the Journal of Applied Physiology, found those who exercise during their youthful days have ‘younger’ muscles in old age.
The researchers found that staying active, even later in life, can help reduce muscle loss.
The researchers led by Dr Geoff Power also said it is ‘superb’ fitness that keeps people young.
Elderly people who exercised were found to be 25 per cent stronger on average than their non-athlete counterparts.
