According to Bible scholars, it is believed that Jesus Christ was not born in a wooden stable as most think. Animals were not kept in wooden stables back then, they were kept in caves because of the heat. So, he was actually born in a cave, not a stable. The other argument used to support this claim is that during Jesus’ days, carpenters were known to cut stone because wood wasn’t widely used as is the case in modern times.
