GONE ARE THOSE DAYS WHEN…

regrets

Today I just want to write about relationship, love, marriage and things that shouldn’t exist anymore in our love life. I decided to title this one “gone are those days when…” because gone are the days when certain things shouldn’t come to the fore in relationships.

Gone are those days when the more women you had meant the more respect you would garner.

Gone are those days when a lady would take all manner of hell from her man just to stick to a relationship.

Gone are those days when friends, family and society deem who we should and shouldn’t fall in love with.

Gone are those days when ladies date a man solely because of material things and men chase a lady just for sexual purposes.

Gone are those days when cheating on a partner were rampant and some people call it fun.

Gone are those days when marriage wasn’t just about a colourful ceremony but two people falling in love with each other, being committed and dedicated to form a union that would last them till death.

Gone are those days when the word ‘love’ was used for selfish and deceitful reasons.

Gone are those days when a lady would use harsh words on her husband/partner and he would react by hitting her.

Gone are those days when a husband and his wife would quarrel incessantly in front of their children.

Gone are those days when one would take a partner for granted.

Gone are those days when you are scared of opening your heart to love and be loved; life itself is a risk.

Gone are those days when you don’t appreciate every second spent with a special partner — moments are temporal, every moment should be cherished and appreciated — tomorrow isn’t promised to any man.

Gone are days when trivial issues would make partners quarrel.

Gone are those days of a nagging girlfriend, fiancée or wife. Nagging kills slowly.

Gone are those days when you can’t appreciate your partner for the little he/she does just because you are probably selfish.

Gone are those days when ego took the place of affection in a relationship.

Gone are the days when people lose a loved one just because they couldn’t offer a simple apology for a wrong done.

Gone are the days when faithfulness was hard to achieve and cheating was so easy.

Every day should be a learning process, take away the things that should be gone and done with in your relationship because at the end it isn’t worth it after all.
