THE 24-HOUR CLOCK OF A MAN AND WOMAN’S SEXUAL LIFE

Have you ever noticed that sometimes a man might be in the mood to hit the sheets, but his lady could be uninterested at that time; while when a lady might be in the mood, the man would be more interested in his sleep.

Science has a justifiable reason for this. A series of research published in The Mirror reveals the 24 hour general mood for sex in both the man and the woman.

5 am

This is a man’s peak hour for sex; it’s when his testosterone level is at its peak. Just before a man opens his eyes is the moment he’s more charged for sex, that’s the major reason most men wake up with an erection. So ladies, take note.

As regards women, their testosterone level at this time is quite low.

6 am

A man is also sexually attracted at this time, especially if he has had a deep sleep. Research has shown that the deeper a man sleeps, the higher his testosterone level, and you should know what that means.

7 am

At this time, a woman’s desire for sex is also low, and one surprising thing about the male and female sexual desire is that they are at their peak at opposite times of the day.

8 am

At this time, the desire for sex in both the man and the woman drops because of an increase in level of cortisol, which is the stress hormone. At this time, the mind is focused on work, and there is little desire from both parties.

9 – 11 am

The desire for sex is still low at this time, but not totally on the man’s side. The man’s testes still produces a certain level of testosterone.

12 noon

If a man sees someone he’s attracted to at this time, it isn’t his hormones that would react first but his nervous system. This would trigger the release of feel good chemicals in his brain, endorphins, and would trigger blood flow to his genitals, but his sex hormones would take a longer time to increase.

1 – 3 pm

After lunch hour, especially with all the consumption of junks and foods with calories, the man is more likely to desire sex than the woman if they both see someone they are attracted to. However, if a woman is anticipating making love with her man her testosterone level can be charged at this time.

6 pm

As evening approaches, the man’s testosterone level is on the decrease while that of the woman is on the ascendancy.

However, a gym session by this time would boost the desire for sex in both the man and woman.

7 pm

At this time, the desire for sex is more in the woman than man, especially after a stressful day at work. A piece of music could even further stimulate the woman, but same can’t be said of a man.

A Japanese research found that a music compilation could boost the desire for sex in a woman and have a negative effect on the man. The reason being that, while it might make the woman relax after a stressful day, in men it could calm his aggression and testosterone level in return.

9 – 11 pm

At this time, the man’s testosterone level is still on the low while the woman’s is still on the rise. She’s more likely to have sex at this time while the man could probably be more occupied with sports or might need a rest.

A woman is more likely to reach orgasm at this time, and the hormone released during orgasm, oxytocin helps bond couples the more. Ever noticed that a man is more likely to sleep just immediately after sex at this time? This is so because the oxytocin acts as a neurotransmitter in the man’s brain and helps him even sleep better.

However ladies, do not fret that a man’s desire for sex is at its lowest at this time, his levels might be at lowest but he’s still responsive. As it’s said “women need a reason for sex, while men just need a place.”

With this, you can actually study your partner better
