The statement every man loves a lady that can cook is a cliché but it’s one cliché that would forever last; it’s a true saying as you hardly find that man who wouldn’t warm up to a good food cooked by his lady.
The big question is WHY; what’s with men and good food; there are many classy restaurants out there that could even give a man better meal, but why would he still prefer that good homemade meal. Women have been asking this question for a very long time now, so fellas I think it’s time we settle that score now.
My grandfather loved a good homemade meal and I’m sure his grandfather loved it too and his grandfather’s grandfather. So, I represent the over 3.6 billion men out there as I share six reasons every man loves a woman that can cook.
1. IT SHOWS LOVE
Inasmuch as some women have a passion for cooking, it doesn’t change the fact that cooking could be quite stressful especially in our time where an order is just a phone call away. So when a woman takes her time to prepare a good meal for her man, it shows that she cares and every man loves to be cared for. A woman who doesn’t care for you wouldn’t cook for you, so that feeling of coming home to a lady that cares and can cook is one good combo.
2. IT’S HEALTHY
Cooking at home is healthier than eating out; at home, you have control over the cooking—you’re in total control of the hygiene, the fat level, the salt and all the rest of it. A good homemade meal is always a healthy choice and every man is aware of this. When a man has to eat out every day could be a tiring option for him, but when it’s right at home makes him feel at home—that’s a healthy choice.
3. IT’S A WAY TO HIS HEART
Forget about s*x, the way to a man’s heart is really through his belly, and the older women know this. A logical reason behind this is that after eating a good home made meal, the man feels relaxed, he’s happy and at that point he’s thanking his stars; there is this calmness and total satisfaction that comes with it, and it’s even easier to get something from that man than after a good round of s*x.
4. SHOWS DECENCY
A man perceives a woman that can cook as decent; not that he wants to feel that way but he has already been programmed to feel that way; his subconscious and the society at large has given him that instinct from a tender age. A girl that can’t cook is seen as a spoilt brat who wouldn’t know how to take care of her family while a girl that can cook is seen as well-trained, decent and can handle being a mum with consummate ease.
5. AROMA
I don’t know about the ladies but there is something about the aroma of a good meal; it’s even as refreshing as the meal itself. In almost all TV commercials I’ve seen, when the woman is cooking, it’s almost always the man who’s more attracted or more drawn to that aroma. No man passes by a nice aroma without happily inhaling—I’ve never seen.
6. HE WOULD BE HOME
The best way to make a man sit his ass at home is by giving him a good meal. Even if there is that side chick waiting for him outside, he could still get carried away once he perceives the aroma of that sweet stew or soup coming out of the kitchen. I’ve seen loads of men who get hungry while they are out but still refuse to eat or eat just little because there is that delicious meal waiting for him once he gets home.
There is just something so attractive and wonderful about a woman who can create all the things that your stomach craves and look good doing it—it’s unexplainable.
