ARGUING WITH YOUR PARTNER CAN MAKE YOU FAT

Couple-arguing

We keep preaching how you shouldn’t argue with your partner and I think this reason should make you stop all those arguments with your partner.

According to researchers from the Ohio State University in the US, relationship arguments don’t just make you sad, they also make you fat too.

After a fight with your partner, the researchers observed that the body often releases more of the hormone ghrelin, which is associated with hunger and can cause you to reach for unhealthy food.

The researchers discovered that couples who argued saw hormonal shifts that encouraged them to make bad dietary decisions.

The study’s lead author, Lisa Jaremka insists that while there is a strong correlation, there is no evidence of causation yet, reports Askmen.

The researchers also found that arguments caused no weight gain in people who are already obese.

So don’t start an argument with your partner if you don’t want to get fat.
