8 WAYS YOU FEEL AFTER A BREAKUP…. IT ONLY SHOWS YOU’RE HUMAN

heartbroken lady

A breakup could be a hurtful experience; when you fall in love with someone, the last thing you expect is to have a bad relationship that would lead to a breakup. It all starts sweet and fine, and that’s the way you expect it to continue — but then, it doesn’t always happen that way.

There are various ways you tend to feel at different points after a breakup, and it only shows you’re human after all.

These are some of the ways you feel

1. YOU FEEL TERRIBLY SAD

The sadness that comes with a breakup with someone you love is extremely high; you wake up in the morning and your day starts with sadness. You would be terribly sad and you might feel you won’t be able overcome that sadness; nothing would excite you anymore, everything happening around you would feel meaningless and you will be inconsolable.

2. LONELY

After the feeling of sadness, the reality of being lonely steps in; a breakup could make you feel lonely; at that point, no company might be good enough for you — it’s at times like these you tend to remember the good moments with your partner and you become envious of happy couples.

3.  ANGER

It isn’t only sadness you will feel though; anger and even extreme anger could step in. You will remember all the hurts you faced and how angry you used to be with your partner, and all the wrong things your partner did to you; moments like these would make you boil in rage.

4. FEELING OF OBSESSION

It won’t take long for the feeling of obsession to step in; you start to stalk your ex on Facebook, go through their pictures you have on your phone (if you haven’t deleted them), you pass places you know they will see you just so you can make an impression and your thoughts are totally about that ex.

5. YOU MISS THEM

The feeling of obsession would make you miss your ex; you think about that person all the time, you wish you had the chance to start everything over again, you miss all the moments you both had, and wish to have them again.

6. JEALOUSY

A normal emotion that comes with a breakup is jealousy; you’d be extremely jealous when your ex starts to date someone else. Even the thoughts of seeing that ex with someone else could strike a feeling of jealousy in you.

7. DEPRESSION

Many people feel depressed after a breakup, and they become so affected by their hurts. All these emotions you feel could make depression step in, and that’s why many fall ill or take rash decisions after a breakup.

8. CONFUSION

Many would want to overcome that feeling of depression; in fighting the depression that comes with being heartbroken, guilt might step in, denial might follow, accepting the fact you need to move on and fear might step in. These mix emotions could make you confused, but then you’d still find ways to empower yourself, heal from the hurt and move on with your life.

Being hurt from a breakup doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world, and every emotion you feel just only shows you’re human.
