Being romantic is not so easy a task for men; most ladies want a man who can at least be romantic. Some men are so far from being romantic but they think they are romantic; while many know that they aren’t romantic but don’t know what to do about it.

Unlike men that are more direct, women are emotional and sentimental and this is one thing every guy that aims to be romantic should have at the back of his head. A simple massage before bedtime, a simple hug and encouragement when she’s down, PDA when out with friends; just those simple things which might not mean much to you actually means a lot to her; women are emotional and in that emotional state all they just need is care.
2. EVERY ROMANTIC GUY GIVES HIS LADY GIFTS
Every romantic guy should be able to get his lady gifts every now and then without actually waiting for an occasion to make that happen. While it could be said that this is an important romantic tip for men, this is one that’s being misused. Men shower ladies with gift items to probably show off, some go as far as buying unnecessary expensive gift items to show class, some buy gifts for their lady only when she asks or just to fulfil an obligation. Gifts don’t have to be expensive, it doesn’t have to be done to prove a point; gifts should be done to show emotions and that you actually care about that lady, not for an ulterior motive because she can actually see through your intent.
3. ROMANTIC MEN KNOW THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY
Any man who can understand his lady is actually a romantic man. A man that’s romantic would know the right words to say to a lady and that’s what most women out there need. When you understand your lady, you would know the words to make her smile, the words that would calm her when she’s angry, the words that would make her feel special; every romantic man should know the right words to say.
4. I LOVE YOU IS NEVER ENOUGH
Most men are quite stiff hearted; they might love their lady immensely but would hardly tell her so. Some men believe as far as they show that they love their lady then it’s enough. Showing that you love her is really good but showing and saying it as well is very important; telling your lady you love her is very reassuring and shouldn’t be said once in a blue moon; if you love her, show her and tell her as well and she would feel lucky.
5. A ROMANTIC MAN FLATTERS AND APPRECIATES HIS LADY
Every lady loves a man who would make her blush and feel valued; when she’s looking good, appreciate; when she does a new hair, appreciate her; when she makes a nice dish, appreciate her; a romantic man makes his lady smile, he makes her feel special and valued.
6. A ROMANTIC MAN IS FULL OF SURPRISES
Every lady cherishes a man who is unpredictable, a man who does things off the book, a man who would spring a surprise or two, a man who would keep her on her toes; that is romantic. When a relationship is one-sided and predictable, it gets boring after a while. If you can plan that surprise party, that surprise gift, that surprise date, a surprise visit, anything out of the ordinary then you have earned a special place in that lady’s heart.
