It just seems like getting married is way easier for ladies than for men.
Most men would rather be patient, study their partner and be sure in their hearts that they are ready to spend a lifetime with that person.
That process of the man being patient is all about him trying to overcome his fears that you really are his lady. That’s probably the reason why he delays in popping that popular question every lady dreams of.
The day he overcomes his fear is the day he would propose to you.
1. DIVORCE
What’s the point getting married when you would seek a divorce eventually? It’s more like time wasted, emotions wasted or spending time with the wrong person. Most men would want to be sure that the marriage would have longevity not the type that would be surrounded by woes just after a month or two.
2. IS SHE THE RIGHT ONE?
This is a huge question every man asks himself; it’s probably the biggest question. Once a man is sure without doubt that his lady is right for him then he would be ready to commit to that lady.
3. AM I READY?
Making a life commitment isn’t easy for any man so he would want to be sure before he finally commits. Most men get scared that they aren’t ready yet to play that marriage scene; so many things would definitely change after marriage and men would want to be sure that they are ready to adjust to those changes.
4. WOULD SHE CHANGE AFTER MARRIAGE?
Some women could be all loving and caring during courtship and even at the beginning of the marriage but after a while they just lose it and the once sweet relationship would look anything but sweet. Most men want to be sure that his lady would be even better when married before they decide it’s time to settle down.
5. LOVE
Love is also another big factor; does she love me enough? Do I love her enough? These are two big questions a man has to be sure of; women could be deceitful, some come because of money and other factors, that’s one of the reasons most men are cautious. Once a man believes his lady actually loves him and he also loves her enough to spend the rest of his life then he has overcame a major fear.
6. SELF-DOUBTS
Sometimes a man is even scared of picking that right lady to settle down with just because of himself. Such a man would probably feel he can’t do it; marriage is a big deal for men and an even bigger deal for these kinds of men. Once this kind of man becomes sure that he can actually settle down then he most definitely will.
One thing most ladies don’t know about men when it comes to marriage is that marriage to men is like overcoming fears; men are built that way; it’s easier for a lady to fall in love and get married than for a man, most men would just love to be extra sure and it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love his lady.
