5 THINGS YOU HAVE TO STOP TELLING YOURSELF

The things you say to yourself are the things you’d end up believing. Unfortunately, many people tell themselves all manner of wrong things every day and expect a different result.

A quote by Christa Zamel: “You want change in your life, you have to be the force behind that change.”

Stop telling yourself these things:

1. “THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE”

Take a look at today’s world and you’d find that so many things that might have been said to be impossible some centuries ago are happening in today’s world.

What you say is impossible will only be impossible to you, but when you have a positive attitude and say it’s possible, then you are halfway there.

2. “I’LL START TOMORROW”

A lot of lives have been ruined by this singular word ‘tomorrow’. Procrastination is a destiny killer; you’d never reach great heights when you keep procrastinating.

3. “I’M A FAILURE”

The fact you have failed at something doesn’t in any way make you a failure; in fact, failure is only a pathway to success. Every great man once failed at something; the only difference is that they weren’t bound by their failures, rather they learnt from each failure.

4. “I’M NOT GOOD ENOUGH”

This is one of the worst things you can say to yourself; you don’t know what’s in you until you put it to work. Give it your best shot and you’ll be surprised at how good enough you are.

5. “THEY WON’T ACCEPT ME”

Stop ruining your self-esteem by looking for who will accept you; just accept yourself and that’s all that matters. Until you accept yourself, no one will accept you.

The words you say to yourself are what you end up becoming; so you ought to retrace your steps and start saying the right words.
