Don’t go into a marriage believing it won’t hit a rocky patch. In fact, they’ll probably come more than u want them to, so get your mind ready for it. It could be financial difficulties, health challenges, or attitude issues, either way, know that it’s all to make you better and stronger.

You can’t go into marriage and expect it’ll be as great as your neighbour’s immediately. They had to grow patiently to that enviable stage. They didn’t just get there at once. It takes hard work, dedication, patience, and persistence to achieve it. You must be willing to invest in what you really want.
IGNORE DETRACTORS
There are people who genuinely don’t want you to be happy or even have what they don’t have, so they’ll try to deny you the opportunity at all cost. Be wary of people around you when they come with different stories and opinions about your family. Sometimes, they just want you to fall.
MARRIAGE GOES BEYOND PHYSICAL ATTRACTION
You might have gotten drawn to them because of their great eyes, sense of humor, great body, or height, but you should know, no one knows tomorrow. There may come a time when those things change, and they suddenly won’t be ‘fine’ anymore. You have to look beyond the things the eyes can see. Cling to them, because it’ll be the reason to stay when ‘you shouldn’t’.
Finally, it’s important to know that marriage is for better for worst. You can’t go into it thinking, “Let’s just give it a shot.” You’ll fail. Marry someone you love deeply. And when the challenges come, stay strong. They’ll pass eventually. Your mindset is key. Prepare yourself before you get in.
