4 MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT LOVE ANALYSED AND DEBUNKED

Love has different meaning to different people. Everyone tends to have a personal perception of that thing called love, and while it’s true sometimes, it’s not other times, and can lead to a great loss.

Love is a feeling, that is expressed both verbally and behaviorally, but we cannot rule out the reality that sometimes we can be mistaken. This is the reason I have made this post. To shed more light on some of those gestures we call ‘love’, and how they may in fact be deception at its finest.

KEY TO THE APARTMENT

Yeah, we know that this is a big way of displaying affection, but it could also be a big way of getting what you want from someone who’s very vulnerable. Getting the keys to your partner’s apartment may mean that they trust you so much, and they want you to be around as often as possible. It also means sometimes that they have long-term plans for you, but it’s also very possible that all of that isn’t the reason, and the only reason is because they know that a lot of women especially think that getting the keys to a man’s apartment equals commitment, so they give her a spare, as long as she gives them the sex they want, and the moment they’re done, you’ll walk in there one day to find them with another woman.

SAYING THEY ‘LOVE YOU’ ALWAYS

Saying those words are very important to sustaining happiness in a relationship, and because more people are increasingly aware of these, they’re taking advantage of unsuspecting people to mislead them. This is the reason we all have to be careful. We want to hear our partner say they love us, but above all, we should be more concerned with how they treat us. It’s one thing to say ‘I love you’, and give you half of me, and another thing entirely to say those words, mean them, and act them.

SMDA/ PDA EQUALS LOVE

You’re probably wondering what SMDA means, well, it’s short for Social Media Display of Affection. PDA is Public Display of Affection of course. These things are cute when they’re real and honest, but are not a guarantee of one’s love for another. Someone can love you in public, and cheat on you in private, so what use is it?

Another reason it’s important to not care about how much he gushes about you in public or on social media. Care about how much they respect you, and are available when you need them.

GREAT SEX EQUALS LOVE

What’s ‘bomb’ sex called these days? Lovemaking? Well, whatever you want to term it, just hold it in you that regular sex, and great sex don’t equal love. For all you know, they could be giving the same to someone out there. Be careful. Love with your heart and mind. It’s harder to be heartbroken that way.
