If you plan going down south on your partner tonight, you might just have to read this. You’ve been warned to take it easy with the oral s*x.
Going down south is really pleasurable but that pleasure could be coming at a cost.
The British Association for S*xual Health and HIV (BASHH) has warned about the rise of STIs because people aren’t taking precautions when it comes to oral s*x.
According to the association, going from one partner to another and failing to use protection has caused an increase in cases of genital herpes, chlamydia, drug-resistant gonorrhea and other troublesome infections, reports Metro UK.
“We’ve only really just noticed that a lot of infections are passed on from oral s*x,” Dr Peter Greenhouse told BBC Newsbeat.
“Very, very few people are using condoms for oral s*x. People don’t know that you can get chlamydia and gonorrhea in the back of your throat without trying very hard.”
