IS YOUR PARTNER ENTITLED TO YOUR PHONE AND PASSWORDS?

relationship privacy

Shawn

Most times, people want to invade their partner’s privacy not really because they feel the need to, but to check if their partner is cheating; this shows a lack of trust in that relationship. A relationship where trust doesn’t exist is one that’s built on a shaky foundation.

People are sometimes a bit attached to certain things they own and don’t appreciate an invasion of privacy in those aspects; whereas, many are of the belief that they are entitled to whatever their partner own. Embracing these two schools of thought in a relationship might be a difficult one, and it could lead to lots of quarrels and complication.

However, there should be a certain respect for both partner’s philosophy so peace can reign; the two partners should try to build an understanding even if they have different philosophies. Though it’s important to know that if you don’t trust your partner enough to avoid going through his/her private messages then the relationship isn’t worth it.

Do you check your partner’s phone and messages? Do you think you’re entitled to it?
