HAVING PREMARITAL S*X INCREASES LIKELIHOOD OF DIVORCE… HOW TRUE IS THIS?

divorce

It is generally believed that women who have more sexual partners before marriage are more likely to get a divorce when they get married.

A 2016 study agrees with the fact premarital sex can increase the likelihood of divorce but the study claims there are exceptions to the rule.

According to the findings from the research from the University of Utah, women who had more than 10 sexual partners before marriage had an increased likelihood of getting a divorce. The study also found women who had just two partners before marriage also show an increase in divorce rates.

Now this is where the study even gets more interesting. The study also found that the lowest rate of divorce was found among women who had between three and nine premarital partners.

According to the lead author of the study, Nicholas H. Wolfinger, the highest five-year divorce rate in the research was associated with women having more than 10 sexual partners.

So how many premarital sexual partners have you had? Do you believe not having premarital sex remains the best solution to having a fulfilled marriage?
