Interrupting someone during a conversation is rude and impolite, and you could make the person offended when you do this. Try to avoid this bad social habit because it’s very offensive and improper.

2. CROSSING YOUR ARMS

Crossing your arms is a bad social habit that’s very bad and passes the wrong message. It shows nonchalance and that you aren’t interested in what the person is saying.

3. SEEKING ATTENTION

We all know that one person who’s always seeking attention in a social gathering. This is a bad social habit that gives a wrong impression about you.

4. CONSTANT COMPLAINING

It’s bad to be known for something as negative as complaining. People would stop taking you serious when all you do is complain about everything.

5. USING OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE

Not everyone would want to hear your dirty jokes or hear you cuss and swear. It’s different when you’re with your inner circle; but if you are in public, you should avoid this.

6. OVER-SHARING

Sharing too much information to someone you just met or someone who isn’t close to you is a bad social habit. Most times they don’t want to know all these, and even if they do, it doesn’t seem right to over-share information about yourself to anyone you come across.

7. TRYING TO PLEASE EVERYONE

You can’t please everyone — so don’t even try. Trying to please everyone is a waste of time and energy, and it makes you less of who you are.

8. BEING BUSY ON YOUR PHONE

Being busy on your phone when having a conversation with someone or a group of people isn’t only improper; it’s also impolite, offensive and puts you in bad light. It shows you don’t care about what’s going on around you.

9. TALKING TOO LOUDLY

When in a social gathering with people, you ought to use a right tone when talking. Talking too loudly is embarrassing and improper; some might even find it annoying and awkward.
