A 2015 study once went viral on this site; the study found that nearly half of all women have a backup lover. A lot of men were shocked at this finding and they revealed their disgust.
But it’s really true; so many women these days don’t have one man in their life; some have two or three others and some have even more than that, and below are some of the reasons why a lot of women can’t stick to one man.
1. YOU DON’T WANT TO PUT ALL YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET
Not every lady is sure of the man she’s dating and many are scared of being jilted; so they secretly have one or two other men in their lives. To these women, having another man is like an insurance policy.
2. YOU SEE IT AS FUN
Some women see having multiple men as fun; these men go on to do so much for them and they just can’t let go of any. So they decide to keep them all till it’s time for them to settle down.
3. YOU DON’T SEE THE RISK INVOLVED
There are so many risks involved in dating more than one man — health and emotional risks to name a few. But a lot of women don’t really see the risks involved, so they date a number of men at the same time without minding.
4. YOU THINK YOU WON’T GET CAUGHT
If you have the mindset that you would be caught, you won’t have so many men in your life, but many of the ladies who can’t stick to one man have the belief that they would never get caught.
5. YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO SAY NO
Not everyone knows how to say no and mean it; some ladies choose not to tell some men no and they end up stringing a number of men by the side.
6. YOU ARE INFATUATED
You could really love your man and become infatuated with another guy, and it would take self-control at this point to avoid him and cut him off your life, but a lot of ladies end up following their lustful desires and give it a go with this guy who has raised their infatuation level.

Good-looking men can really be charming, and if you aren’t careful you can fall for one even when you didn’t plan for it to happen that way.
8. YOU ARE GOOD-LOOKING
When you are a good-looking lady, you would definitely have a number of men coming after you. You would meet the rich, the very rich, the charming, the cute guy and the very sexy guy. It takes more than self-control to turn all these men down and religiously stick to the relationship you have, and if you aren’t careful as a good-looking woman, you would end up having a number of men other than your main guy.
