7 SIGNS YOU’RE TOO NEEDY AND CLINGY

Being too needy and clingy isn’t a trait that one can say is a good one. A clingy person can easily infuriate their partner and in a way make the partner feel choked in the relationship.

Some people are clingy partners and don’t know it; but these signs below show that you’re a clingy partner.

1. YOU ALWAYS BUZZ YOUR PARTNER’S PHONE

Communication is a good thing in a relationship, but then, there’s a thin line between communicating with your partner on the phone and being a pest. Many clingy partners pass that thin line without knowing. When you constantly buzz your partner’s phone every hour, without minding how busy that person might be, then you’re being too clingy.

2. YOU GET EASILY FREAKED OUT

A needy partner gets easily freaked out at the slightest thing. A needy partner will freak out when their text isn’t replied on time, when their partner doesn’t pick up the phone and when their partner isn’t home.

A needy partner freaks out for no reason. When you freak out easily, without being sure of your fears, then you’re a needy partner.

3. YOU OVERANALYSE SITUATIONS

A clingy partner tends to look for a fault where there isn’t. When you tend to pay too much and unnecessary focus on certain things your partner does, you might just be a clingy partner.

4. YOU MOVE TOO FAST

A clingy person moves faster than expected; a clingy person will want a relationship to start just a day after the first date. A clingy person takes things too fast and wants everything to happen at once.

5. YOU WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING

A clingy partner never gives that benefit of doubt; a clingy partner would want to know everything, even things that don’t matter. Clingy partners most times are too inquisitive.

6. YOU FOLLOW YOUR PARTNER EVERYWHERE

A needy partner can’t spend time alone and can’t be by themselves. A needy partner wants to be with their partner at all times and follow them everywhere they go. A needy person tends to choke their partner in the relationship. In the eyes of a needy partner, you don’t need space when you’re in a relationship; they tend to tag along even on occasions where their presence isn’t needed.

7. YOU TEND TO CHOOSE YOUR PARTNER’S FRIENDS

A needy partner tends to dislike their partner’s friends and try to choose their partner’s friends; they tend to make their partner’s decisions for them and choose who should and shouldn’t be in their lives.

When you display these characteristics, you just might be too needy and clingy in your relationship.
