A lot of the time, what most people teach a girl while growing up is how to take care of herself and her personal hygiene when she’s on her period. Inasmuch as this is very important, much emphasis should also be placed on her diet. A woman’s diet during her monthly flow is very important; it could be the difference between having a good day and a day filled with cramp, unrest and irritation.

Bananas are rich in potassium, and they are also a good source of magnesium. Bananas contain Vitamin B6 and other vitamins as well as melatonin which help support the body’s wellness and natural rhythm, and would also boost your mood. Banana consumption would aid a good night sleep and help ease the pains as well.
2. GREEN VEGETABLES
Green vegetables are a good source of fibre, iron and vitamin B. The fibre in vegetables helps solve digestion issues that come with the monthly flow.
