It’s hard to find a faithful man; they are few, rare and probably one in a thousand. A study by researchers from the University of Texas found that men cheat more than women because they have stronger sexual impulses than their female counterparts.
Research also suggests that men are more likely to be unfaithful because they have less self-control. Another study in the United States found that about 17 percent of divorces are caused by infidelity; with about 70 percent of married men admitting to cheating on their wives and 2/3 of women are not aware of their husband’s affair even; now that’s massive.
Maybe we should just forget statistics; how many ladies have dated a guy and he was absolutely faithful? Worse part is, lots of men think it’s okay to cheat, cheat again, and still keep cheating…until they get found out, and then an apology is enough to sooth everything.
No! Apologies aren’t enough, cheating isn’t okay. 6 reasons men (and women too) should stop thinking it’s okay to cheat:
1. THE RELATIONSHIP WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME
Once you are seriously involved with a partner and you cheat on her, the relationship would never be the same…even if you don’t get caught. The affection, your attention, everything that revolves around the relationship would be affected, and if you eventually get caught, your partner’s trust is something you might never totally regain. Cheating changes everything, whether you admit it or not.
2. YOU WOULD HAVE NONE OF IT IF…
More often than not, if the scenario was reversed and you become the victim, you would have none of it. So how then should you expect to be treated like a king and you treat your partner like a pawn? Most cheating men would divorce their wife if she’s caught cheating, and that’s a fact.
3. SHOWS YOU HAVEN’T GROWN UP YET
There is this reputation among younger men (the ones in college especially) that they score lots of points among their peers when they have lots of women at their disposal; but when you take such childish mentality even beyond college and into your relationship and marriage, it makes you look immature. There is never a positive in cheating.
