Age 30 is a huge milestone in a person’s life, and the kind of friends you have in your life at that point could go a long way in shaping or breaking your life.
At 30, the yardstick for friendship should be different from when you are 20.
Over the years, from childhood to adulthood, your friendship will evolve. But at age 30, these kinds of friends should remain.

At 30, you should know that your one and only friend that could stick his/her neck out for you no matter what. At this stage of your life, you should know that friend that’ll always be there for you.
2. THE ONE WHO’S ALWAYS FUN TO BE WITH
People get old too quickly and forget to be young when they are still young. At age 30, you’re still a young person — although, you should be mature enough to know the difference between maturity and immaturity. But then, you still need that friend who isn’t always uptight and who’s definitely fun to be with.
I still find it hard to understand why people get old at 30, and forget to live their life, and then get to regret that at 60.
3. THE ONE WITH THE PERFECT WORDS OF WISDOM
You’ll always need that friend who’s wise in the things of life, and who has that life-saving advice to give at all times. At 30, you should have that friend that’ll always have something wise to say you in order to make you better.
4. THE ONE CAN PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE
There’s always that special friend that’ll have you smiling for no reason, and only thoughts about that person can just crack you. Friends like this can make you smile even when you don’t want to, and they are very valuable in life. There are too many things to kill one’s joy in this sad world, but a friend like this isn’t one of them.
5. THE ONE WHO ISN’T AFRAID TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH
We all make mistakes in life, and it’s very important to have that true friend who wouldn’t shy away from telling you the hard truth. At 30, you should have such a friend that wouldn’t be afraid to tell you the truth.
