5 SIGNS YOUR MARRIAGE IS ON THE VERGE

With each passing day, more and more marriages are crashing. It’s almost like people get together for the sake of the ceremony and the rituals that come with weddings, and afterwards, they go their separate ways. The truth however, is that marriages don’t just suddenly crash. Before it does, there’s always a build up; a series of events that lead up to it.

Here are some of them.

REDUCED INTIMACY

Marriage is intimacy. It’s the little feelings of lust and craving for your partner that add life help elongate the life of the marriage. When you notice you’d rather spend your time doing other stuff or perhaps alone than be with your partner cuddling or having sex, it’s a sign that something is wrong. The same goes for your partner.

SECRETS AND MORE SECRETS

There’s room for a little secrecy in marriage. I think it’s totally healthy for individuals in the union to thrive, but it shouldn’t happen over everything. You have no reason hiding to text other people behind your partner’s back or keeping your work and family details from them. You’re one. If you hide stuff like that, it means you probably don’t see your partner that way anymore.

RECURRING FIGHTS AND ARGUMENTS

We all fight, don’t we? It can even strengthen a couple’s bond honestly, if they make up and learn from it. It’s bad however, when these fights start to happen now and then, and over the smallest issues. You fight over chores, you fight over dates. All isn’t well.

YOU STOP TRYING FOR THEM

When you feel good about yourself, you want to show it to your partner by allowing it reflect on your appearance. You dress good to please your partner, but if the reverse is the case, there’s no way that would happen, and that’s because you don’t see the need for it.

If you also find yourself giving up on arguments with your partner, and would rather let them have their way than argue, there’s a big chance you’re fed up, and it’s only a matter of time before you quit the marriage.

INFIDELITY

This is always the last move to pull when you become disillusioned with your partner. When you get to the point that you detest them so much that you seek someone else, or you even consider it, it’s better you sit with your partner, and tell them how you feel than do that. But it doesn’t have to get to that point where you have to cheat. Issues are a part of every relationship. You can fight to save yours if it means anything to you.
