1. ROPED IN: 1001 DARK NIGHTS; A BLACKTOP COWBOYS NOVELLA

5

Ambition has always been his biggest downfall…until he meets her.

World champion bulldogger Sutton Grant works hard on the road, but his quiet charm has earned the nickname “The Saint” because he’s never been the love ’em and leave ’em type with the ladies. When he’s sidelined by an injury, he needs help keeping his horse in competition shape, but he fears trying to sweet-talk premier horse trainer London Gradsky is a losing proposition–because the woman sorta despises him.

London is humiliated when her boyfriend dumps her for a rodeo queen. What makes the situation worse? She’s forced to see the lovebirds on the rodeo circuit every weekend. In an attempt to save face, London agrees to assist the notoriously mild, but ruggedly handsome Sutton Grant with his horse training problem on one condition: Sutton has to pretend to be her new boyfriend.

But make believe doesn’t last long between the sassy cowgirl and the laid-back bulldogger. When the attraction between them ignites, London learns that sexy Sutton is no Saint when that bedroom door closes; he’s the red-hot lover she’s always dreamed of.

The more time they spend together, the more Sutton realizes he wouldn’t mind being roped and tied to the rough and tumble cowgirl for real…

2. ALL A LADY WANTS

1

Lady Sarah Evanston wants to reclaim her life after losing both parents in quick succession. Mourning them has kept her from society. Now she must find a suitable husband or risk being a spinster and living the rest of her life alone. She has promised herself she will reopen her family home and live there alone, rather than marry someone she does not truly love.

Lord Reginald Guilworth, the Marquis of Ellswarren is feeling family pressure to assume responsibility, marry and produce an heir to the Guilworth fortune. He contemplates a marriage of convenience to shield himself from being hurt by love, again.

Sarah and Reggie have been close family friends since her childhood. Sarah has always adored him, yet he has never taken notice of her. She has resolved to move forward giving up that childhood dream.

Reggie’s cousins, members of the exiled French aristocracy, come to stay with the Guilworth family, embroiling them all in international intrigue involving the teetering French government and upheaval of the aristocratic class of France. Among the political chaos and the horrific year of natural disasters, Reggie and Sarah are drawn together and realize they do share an abiding love for one another.

But events conspire to tear them apart, with deadly consequences for all those involved, threatening their end their happiness almost before it begins.

3. INDECENT PROPOSAL

2

Perfect for readers of Susan Mallery and Rachel Gibson, Molly O’Keefe’s gritty and sensual tale of passion and politics features the brother of the heroine from the author’s beloved novel, Never Been Kissed. He’s a driven man who refuses to be distracted—until he meets a beautiful bartender who just may change his life.

With his chiseled jaw and his thick blond hair, Harrison Montgomery was born to lead. Four generations of Montgomery men have served the state of Georgia and now he’s next in line. Harrison, though, is driven to right wrongs: namely to clean up the political mess left by his father’s greed and corruption. But Harrison must first win his congressional bid, and nothing can get in his way—not even an angel who served him whiskey and gave him a shoulder to lean on and a body to love for a night. Problem is, she’s pregnant. Scandal is brewing and there is only one solution: marriage.

Damage control? Ryan Kaminski can’t believe that a cold, calculating political animal now inhabits the body of the emotionally vulnerable stranger who’d given her the most unforgettable night of her life. Really, she doesn’t want anything from Harrison, except to be left alone to have her baby in peace. But Ryan is broke, jobless, and essentially blackmailed by Harrison’s desperate family to accept this crazy marriage deal. For two years, she will have to act the role of caring, supportive wife. But what is Ryan supposed to do when she realizes that, deep in her heart, she’s falling in love.

4. THE COLLECTOR

3

There is a myth that only dominant, slim, basque-clad women write erotica. This anthology breaks away from that misconception.

The 21 stories included in this book have been compiled by an anonymous central narrator referred to as the Collector, who either acquires the tales from a willing third party (Cupboard Lust), or overhears information and fills in the blanks herself (Learning). Not a call girl or a sex club queen, she sits in coffee shops by day, gaining a strange pleasure from writing up her salacious literature in public. Travelling on public transport as much as possible, listening to conversations in restaurants, pubs and cafes, she keeps her eyes and ears open for potential material. When sources run dry the Collector takes matters into her own hands, engineering situations worth writing about by doing some direct research (Treasure). Occasionally she visits the select clubs and private houses of the Home Counties, which guarantee to provide the type of material required to retell the most erotic of adventures (Tequila). Divided into chapters, the stories vary in length from 250 words to c.4000 words. Each tale is pulled together with a short narrative, which offers a brief history to the piece, without frustrating the reader intent on the stories themselves. From New Territory, which provides information about both our narrator and her writing, to Alone, The Collector takes the reader through every gambit of the sexual experience. Lust, submission, dominance, instruction, voyeurism and masturbation, are all observed within the genres of heterosexual, lesbian and solo sex.
