It’s a new year, and as always, a time for fresh starts. I have noticed that a lot of guys do so much just to be ‘loved’ by women. It is insane, and I thought we had to talk about it.
Here are some habits I think have to be dropped this new year.
SPENDING ON EVERY WOMAN AROUND
It’s not a sin to spoil your lady with exciting gifts or money; she’s your woman after all, and she deserves it — especially if you do have money to spend on her. However, there’s a huge difference between your woman and other women in your life. If you’re helping a needy person, that’s different, but spending your money to impress women around you is totally terrible and unhealthy for your future. All that money spent on various women around you could be saved up for tomorrow.
STOP QUITTING THINGS THAT MATTER TO YOU TO IMPRESS A WOMAN
There are a lot of men I know who have given up their hobbies for the ‘love’ of a woman. They no longer watch football or play any of their favourite sport because the girl they like has perhaps complained about it. I also know men who have stopped being friends with their friends because their woman said she doesn’t like them.
Now, it’s important to know that no one has any right choosing friends or hobbies for you as long as they’re not life-endangering.
STOP PLAYING THE ‘HARD TO GET GAME’ WITH WOMEN
Most women feed their ego by playing ‘hard to get’. So while you suffer and think of ways to impress her, she’s smiling somewhere in her house. Gone are the days when this kind of things could happen. This is the 21st century. Most women think differently. So if one decides to waste your time just so you keep trying to impress her, it’s in your best interest to move on.
STOP TOLERATING HER EXCESSES
Love is tolerant, yea I know, but there’s a limit to how much one should tolerate. You can’t continue to be with a woman who treats you less of a man or cheats repeatedly on you in the name of love. I think that’s totally absurd. Save your ego, and move on.
STOP TRYING TO EARN HER APPROVAL
A lot of men have lost their confidence trying to impress every woman in their life. They can’t do anything without thinking of what this and that girl might think. I think that is appalling. Your life is your life. A woman who will like you will do so regardless.
