You&#8217;ve been warned to take it easy with the oral s*x.<\/p>\n<p>Going down south is really pleasurable but that pleasure could be coming at a cost.<\/p>\n<p>The British Association for S*xual Health and HIV (BASHH) has warned about the rise of STIs because people aren&#8217;t taking precautions when it comes to oral s*x.<\/p>\n<p>According to the association, going from one partner to another and failing to use protection has caused an increase in cases of genital herpes, chlamydia, drug-resistant gonorrhea and other troublesome infections, reports Metro UK.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve only really just noticed that a lot of infections are passed on from oral s*x,&#8221; Dr Peter Greenhouse told BBC Newsbeat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Very, very few people are using condoms for oral s*x.
