{"id":22728,"date":"2016-01-14T21:32:22","date_gmt":"2016-01-14T20:32:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/?p=22728"},"modified":"2017-05-18T21:23:15","modified_gmt":"2017-05-18T20:23:15","slug":"couples-should-have-sx-three-times-a-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/couples-should-have-sx-three-times-a-week\/","title":{"rendered":"COUPLES SHOULD HAVE S*X THREE TIMES A WEEK&#8230; THIS IS WHY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/couple-in-bed.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15129\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/couple-in-bed.jpg\" alt=\"couple in bed\" width=\"498\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/couple-in-bed.jpg 498w, https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/couple-in-bed-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/couple-in-bed-174x98.jpg 174w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A fertility expert has encouraged couples to have sex three times a week because she believes lack of regular sex is one of the most common problems for couples not conceiving.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the report published in MailOnline, Dr Geetha Venkat, consultant gynaecologist and director of Harley Street Fertility Clinic said couples should have more sex and not wait to have sex only when they are ovulating because they could be incorrectly predicting when the woman is most fertile, missing opportunities to conceive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr Venkat advised couples to have sex one day before and after their &#8216;ovulation window&#8217; as it takes a day for the sperm to reach the egg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to studies, 84 percent of couples will conceive naturally within one year if they have regular unprotected sex.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">92 percent will conceive within two years while 93 percent will become pregnant within three years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MailOnline also reports Dr Venkat as saying that many couples are simply not aware that to increase their chances of getting pregnant, they should have more sex often, not only just when they believe the woman is ovulating.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another reason couples should have more sex according to Dr Venkat is because it ensures there is always a supply of sperm in the womb, ready to fertilize the egg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The more sex a man has, the better quality sperm he will have, she added.
