We all dream of having our dream job right after graduation but sometimes there might be obstacles that may get in our way when job hunting.<\/p>\n

Below are 6 reasons why you are still jobless after graduation<\/p>\n

1. INEXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n

Most times what stands between us and getting our dream job is inexperience. We learn so much while in the university but when it comes to getting a job, it only accounts for one line of your r\u00e9sum\u00e9.<\/p>\n

2. BEING TOO PICKY<\/b><\/p>\n

Most times we are bent on getting a particular job (which probably pays well) and we miss out on other jobs. I know you want the best in life but sometimes we have to start from the bottom.<\/p>\n

3. YOU ARE TOO COMFORTABLE AT YOUR PARENT’S HOUSE<\/b><\/p>\n

Sometimes due to the comfort and staying with our parents, we rarely put much effort into getting a job.<\/p>\n

4. WRONG FRIENDS<\/b><\/p>\n

If you have friends that have got no ambitions in life, it might affect you as a person. Remember the adage – show me your friend and I would tell you who you are.<\/p>\n

5. NOT PUSHING YOURSELF TO GET A JOB BECAUSE OTHERS COULDN’T<\/b><\/p>\n

We sometimes hear people say they won’t try seeking for employment because companies are downsizing, unemployment is on the increase and others they know couldn’t get a job. You are different and you should push yourself to get a job whether others could or couldn’t.<\/p>\n

6. NOT BELIEVING IN YOURSELF<\/b><\/p>\n

If you don’t believe in yourself, no one will believe in you. Believing in yourself and your talents will only make you more appealing to prospective employers when they meet you.<\/p>\n

Now you know the reasons why you are still jobless, it’s time to overcome these obstacles and get some job.<\/p>\n
