{"id":15481,"date":"2015-06-25T12:42:11","date_gmt":"2015-06-25T11:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/?p=15481"},"modified":"2016-03-22T12:42:40","modified_gmt":"2016-03-22T11:42:40","slug":"fertility-warning-to-women-over-37","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/fertility-warning-to-women-over-37\/","title":{"rendered":"FERTILITY WARNING TO WOMEN OVER 37"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/fertility.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15482\" alt=\"fertility\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/fertility.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/fertility.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.elcrema.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/fertility-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Doctors are worried that celebrities who have children in their 40s are giving women false hope about motherhood.<\/p>\n<p>Many who parade their &#8216;Miracle babies&#8217; will not have gotten pregnant naturally but will often have used IVF or donor eggs.<\/p>\n<p>Failure by celebrities not to make this public means their fans fail to realise that fertility declines dramatically after the age of 37.<\/p>\n<p>The issue was thrown into the spotlight by a study showing that at 44 it is almost 20 times harder to get pregnant than at 39.<\/p>\n<p>The rapid speeding up of their biologically clock means women in their mid-40s have only a 1.3 percent chance of the treatment working.<\/p>\n<p>But at the ages of 38 or 39, the success rate is 23.6 percent.
