It\u2019s hard to find a faithful man; they are few, rare and probably one in a thousand. A study by researchers from the University of Texas found that men cheat more than women because they have stronger sexual impulses than their female counterparts.<\/p>\n

Research also suggests that men are more likely to be unfaithful because they have less self-control. Another study in the United States found that about 17 percent of divorces are caused by infidelity; with about 70 percent of married men admitting to cheating on their wives and 2\/3 of women are not aware of their husband’s affair even; now that\u2019s massive.<\/p>\n

Maybe we should just forget statistics; how many ladies have dated a guy and he was absolutely faithful? Worse part is, lots of men think it\u2019s okay to cheat, cheat again, and still keep cheating\u2026until they get found out, and then an apology is enough to sooth everything.<\/p>\n

No! Apologies aren\u2019t enough, cheating isn\u2019t okay. 6 reasons men (and women too) should stop thinking it\u2019s okay to cheat:<\/p>\n

1. THE RELATIONSHIP WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME<\/b><\/p>\n

Once you are seriously involved with a partner and you cheat on her, the relationship would never be the same\u2026even if you don\u2019t get caught. The affection, your attention, everything that revolves around the relationship would be affected, and if you eventually get caught, your partner\u2019s trust is something you might never totally regain. Cheating changes everything, whether you admit it or not.<\/p>\n

2. YOU WOULD HAVE NONE OF IT IF\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

More often than not, if the scenario was reversed and you become the victim, you would have none of it. So how then should you expect to be treated like a king and you treat your partner like a pawn? Most cheating men would divorce their wife if she\u2019s caught cheating, and that\u2019s a fact.<\/p>\n

3. SHOWS YOU HAVEN\u2019T GROWN UP YET<\/b><\/p>\n

There is this reputation among younger men (the ones in college especially) that they score lots of points among their peers when they have lots of women at their disposal; but when you take such childish mentality even beyond college and into your relationship and marriage, it makes you look immature. There is never a positive in cheating.<\/p>\n

4. YOU MIGHT LOSE A GOOD WOMAN<\/b><\/p>\n

Most times men cheat on their good wives, fianc\u00e9es and girlfriends with a woman who they can\u2019t even compare to the woman they have in their lives? Would you have just that momentarily pleasure over a good woman that could be with you for eternity? It\u2019s funny how cheating men always toe the path that even they know isn\u2019t really worth it in the end. Many men have lost a lot of good women in their lives. I read some comments in a forum with men bemoaning their fate of losing their good woman and it justified my point.<\/p>\n

5. THE DISEASE FACTOR<\/b><\/p>\n

This is one factor that many men don\u2019t even put into consideration. We live in times of HIV, STDs and co flying around like vultures looking for prey to devour. Early this year I read of a man (a popular figure) who contracted HIV from his cheating endeavours and passed it on to his unsuspecting faithful wife. Men even cheat and forget that there is a thing called condom.<\/p>\n

6. YOU MIGHT NEVER GAIN BACK HER TRUST<\/b><\/p>\n

Trust is hard to get and even harder to regain when lost. If you lose your woman\u2019s trust, you might never get it back. She might still accept and forgive you\u2026but for the trust forget it.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s never okay to be the cheating man? If you can\u2019t have a relationship then it\u2019s better to stay off it than purposely hurting another person who solely made a mistake in loving you.<\/p>\n
