There are plenty of women out there, who live under the thought that they’re the sole partners of their lovers (you know, the main and only chick) in what may appear as a serious relationship, but unknown to them, they’re being played and strung along by the same men they call their partners.<\/p>\n

Some of these men are either married or have a woman they appreciate more elsewhere. They come with nice gifts and are charming, and deceive unsuspecting women into believing that they genuinely care about them, but the moment they’re done with these women, they move on, leaving them heartbroken. Sometimes, the signs are there, that something about the man doesn’t really add up, but in the absence of real proof, the woman continues to hold on. If you’re one of those women who feel manipulated and lied to by their man, but aren’t really sure, I’m sorry to tell you that you may just be right. While they may not always be true, there are signs that suggest you’re not the main woman in a man’s life. So if you ever find yourself questioning your place in his life, just watch him closely, and look out for the following signs…<\/p>\n

1. HE ALWAYS HAS A STORY TO TELL<\/b><\/p>\n

He always has a story cooked up to tell you as his excuse for not being there when you need him–your birthday, Valentine’s, etc. He ditches you on these special occasions to spend them with his main woman, and when you confront him about it, he has an already made excuse for you. Either that his company needed him to represent them at an event or that he had to visit a sick relative…anything to keep you around.<\/p>\n

2. HIS STORIES DON’T QUITE ADD UP<\/b><\/p>\n

First, the woman you keep seeing her pictures in his phone was cousin, now, she’s his best friend from school. Sometimes, when you tell too many lies, you end up forgetting the ones you told previously. When a man keeps starts telling you conflicting stories about his personal life, it may be a sign that he’s manipulating you. You must be careful.<\/p>\n

3. HE DOESN’T ANSWER CERTAIN CALLS IN YOUR PRESENCE <\/b><\/p>\n

You\u2019re with him, his phone goes rings, and he has to go a few metres away from you before he can answer the call. Not that this happens with every call, but with certain ones, it may be a sign that you’re being played. It’s probably his main woman or wife calling, so in a bid to avoid answering 21 questions, he hides to take the call.<\/p>\n

4. HE DOESN’T LET YOU CALL; HE’D RATHER DO ALL THE CALLING <\/b><\/p>\n

He’s going to form a sweet excuse about how he doesn’t want you to waste your money calling him, so, he’d like to do the calling, but the truth is, he’s just being cautious. He doesn’t want you calling because you could call at the wrong time of the day, say, when he’s spending time with his wife or main chick.<\/p>\n

5. HE DOESN’T HANG OUT WITH YOU, AND WHEN HE DOES, HE ONLY TAKES YOU TO QUIET OR SECLUDED PLACES <\/b><\/p>\n

If he never hangs out with you or doesn’t appear in public with you, or only takes you off-town to chill, something is definitely going on. It could be because he knows his woman or her friends \/people could walk in on you two at any time, so he wouldn’t risk it.<\/p>\n

6. YOU DON’T KNOW HIS HOUSE<\/b><\/p>\n

You’ve been dating him for months now, but you have never visited his place –in fact, you may not even know where he lives. He does the visiting, and when you tell him you want to know his place, he gives you a well-cooked excuse. Maybe that he doesn’t yet have a place of his own or something along the line. The actual truth is that he probably has a wife or fianc\u00e9 back home so he will never take you there.<\/p>\n

7. HE HAS A RING MARK ON HIS FINGER <\/b><\/p>\n

Well, some married men would do whatever they want with their wedding rings on, and it wouldn’t change a thing because they don’t attach any real importance to it, and of course, they know just what to tell their victims to make her ignore it. But some consider it very sacred, they’d never try to cheat or do anything outside marriage with their ring on. They’ll take it off just before they visit or come around, and sometimes, the ring marks are still there because he had it on for so long. If you notice any ring marks on the man you’re dating, on whom you’ve never seen a ring, it may be a sign that he’s hiding some skeletons in his closet.<\/p>\n

Like I said, these are not sure signs, but they may suggest he’s hiding something. If you notice any of them, you may need to do some investigation of your own to find out what is really going on.<\/p>\n
