Friends are a big part of our lives; life would be so boring and incomplete if they aren’t there. They almost always want the best for us and our relationships, but even at that, they could destroy our relationship without even knowing.<\/p>\n

It’s typical for a woman to turn to her friends to discuss her relationship highs and lows \u2014 the lows especially; when the chips are down, they are the ones we meet for advice, and sometimes they even advise us without our asking.<\/p>\n

But who do we really meet for advice? Would their advice make the relationship grow if taken or would it stunt the growth of that relationship?<\/p>\n

There are so many kinds of friends we shouldn’t let into our relationships, or else they would easily mess it up.<\/p>\n

1. THE ONE WHO DOESN’T BELIEVE IN LOVE <\/b><\/p>\n

Not everyone believes in love; some see relationships as a game, and a game that should have a winner. But that’s totally wrong, and taking advice from this person about your relationship could definitely worsen your relationship. You remember that friend(s) who laughed and mocked anytime you talk of how much you love your man or that friend who would ridicule you for being faithful to a single man \u2014 that’s the kind of friend you should avoid taking advice from.<\/p>\n

2. THE ONE WHO CAN’T KEEP A PARTNER<\/b><\/p>\n

This category is divided into two sets of women. The first set is the promiscuous woman \u2014 one man isn’t enough for her, she doesn’t really understand what it means to value a relationship; such a person shouldn’t be met for advice. The second set is the lady who doesn’t know how to keep her man; the type that moves from one failed relationship to another without realizing that the fault is hers and not that of the men she meets. These types of women are terribly doing something wrong that just keeps chasing their man, but they don’t know. Imagine what would happen to your relationship if you take counsel from this bunch.<\/p>\n

3. THE ONE WITH A WRONG ATTITUDE <\/b><\/p>\n

Some women just have a wrong attitude about so many things in life and relationships especially, without even knowing. The truth is, we know our friends very well, we know the ones who have a terrible attitude, but we are scared to advise them on such because we don’t want to lose our friendship with them. Imagine taking advice from a friend that you can’t even advice.<\/p>\n

4. THE ONE WHO KNOWS IT ALL <\/b><\/p>\n

There is always this kind of friend that just knows it all; she knows it better than everyone else; her way is always the best, even when it’s clear that it’s leading to a ditch. Such a friend would never accept a wrong or admit a fault \u2014 they are always right even when they are wrong. Taking advice from such a person might not be a good option.<\/p>\n

5. THE ONE WHO CAN’T KEEP A SECRET <\/b><\/p>\n

The friend that’s always blabbing; the mouth can’t keep shut for a second \u2014 this type should be avoided even in other aspects of your life, not your relationship alone. Just a simple word to them and it’s all over the place; is that the person one should seek advice from? They shouldn’t even hear of your relationship woes in the first place.<\/p>\n

6. THE ONE WHO EASILY GETS JEALOUS\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

A jealous friend should be watched with four eyes; they may wish you well, but somehow, the jealousy in them could get the better of them. You know that friend that’s always jealous of everything good that happens to you \u2014 the one that always wants to be better than you rather than celebrate with you \u2014 the one that gives a fake smile when something good happens; such a friend should be shielded by all means from your relationship.<\/p>\n

7. THE DESPERADOES <\/b><\/p>\n

These are the women that are desperate about everything \u2014 men inclusive. If you aren’t careful, they would lead you astray with their acts of desperation. Desperation would never take you anywhere.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the best person to take advice from is yourself, especially when it concerns your relationship. Deep in our minds we even know our friends and the ones that their advice aren’t worth it, but we still meet them and let them interfere when they shouldn’t.<\/p>\n

So be careful ladies. The advice you take from friends could make or mar your relationship. Be careful of who you seek counsel from.<\/p>\n
