Well, this phrase isn\u2019t just a mere myth; it\u2019s now being backed by research.<\/p>\n<p>A study conducted by Kayle Knopp of the University of Denver found that People who cheat in one relationship are three and a half times more likely to cheat in their next relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The study examined the relationships of 484 unmarried people between the ages 18 &#8211; 34. He found that \u201cpeople who were cheated on in the past are also more likely to be cheated on again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The study also found that people who reported to be physically aggressive in their previous relationship had every tendency of doing that in their next relationship.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cRespondents who reported lots of yelling, shouting, pushing and shoving in one relationship were three times more likely to engage in the same behaviors in their next relationship \u2014 even after controlling for their partners\u2019 aggression in both relationships.
