"gentle

Gentlemen may be difficult to come by, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. If you haven’t met one, then maybe you haven’t been looking closely enough. Here are some distinguishing qualities that make a true gentleman…

1. HE’S A MORALIST

A true gentleman believes in morality and honesty. He’s chaste, and knows right from wrong. He never uses swear words; not on women, and not men. He doesn’t drink and drive, he doesn’t take advantage of people’s perceived weaknesses, and he’s as law-abiding as a cop. Sad thing is, a lot of women would rather not date someone like this because they’re considered boring, but the truth is that people like this are the best you can get in your life.

2. HE’S PATIENT

They say patience is a virtue — and gentlemen happen to have it in abundance. You can make a gentleman wait hours, and he’ll understand…if your explanation is reasonable. And If you’re the kind of woman who likes to be in a relationship without intimacy, a gentleman is just who you need to be in with. He won’t pressure you into doing what you do not want to do, rather he’ll wait till you’re ready…

3. HE’S COOL, CALM AND COLLECTED

A gentleman never loses his temper on a woman. Even when he’s angry, he knows how to keep his emotions in check so he doesn’t do something regrettable. He never allows his emotions get the better of him; he’s always in control, and sometimes it’s even difficult to tell when they’re angry. He isn’t imposing per se, but always is in control of his relationship. He’s respected and loved because he knows how to carry and conduct himself in public; be it in the midst of friends or family – he’s maturity personified!

4. HE’S NOT A CONTROL FREAK

What can be worse than being in a relationship with someone who cannot let you be yourself, and always feels the need to tell you what to do, how to do it, and when to do it? My guess is nothing. A gentleman is the complete opposite of this. He’s not a control freak. He allows you be yourself, and do whatever you want to do. He doesn’t impose his ideas and beliefs on you, and even if he has to correct you, he does it in the sweetest manner possible.

5. HE KNOWS HOW TO TREAT A WOMAN

You’d agree with me that there aren’t many men who know how to treat a woman, but a gentleman knows just how to. He buys his woman gifts, takes her out as often as he can, respects and adores her, and will never let another disrespect her. He even knows to do the little romantic things like, opening doors for her, and pulling out a chair for her to sit on.

6. HE KNOWS TO WHEN TO APOLOGIZE

Very few men like to apologize when they err because men are naturally ego-conscious people, but a true gentleman would always put pride aside and apologize to his woman if he knows he’s wrong because he values his relationship, and understand that to keep one, you must be willing to make sacrifices.

So there you have it — qualities that make a true gentleman standout from the pack. Most women pass up the chance of being with a true gentleman, and having a happy relationship because they think gentlemen are ‘boring’. This is not true. Gentlemen are just as fun as any other man out there once you get to be with them, and they’re way more mature. Try one today!
