Every woman wants her hair to be healthy but you would be amazed to know that not all women know how to keep hair healthy. Caring for your hair shouldn’t be the hardest job in the world if you just follow the tips below

1. SLEEP ON SILK OR SATIN PILLOWCASES

If you want your hair to be healthy, you should change your pillowcases to silk or satin. Using silk or satin pillowcases help reduce split ends which you probably don’t want.

2. PROTECT YOUR HAIR FROM UV RAYS AND HEAT

Heat and UV rays aren’t good for your hair and you need to protect your hair from them. Prevent your hair from heat damage by turning down your heated styling tools to the bare minimum heat. Also use heat protectant sprays for your hair to protect it from heat and UV rays.

3. EAT HEALTHY

If you want your hair to be healthy, you need to eat right. For healthy hair, eat foods like walnuts, sweet potatoes, avocado and eggs. They deliver essential nutrition your hair needs.

4. AVOID WEARING TOO-TIGHT PONYTAILS

Always go for loose ponytails and avoid having ponytails that are too tight. When your ponytails are tight, they could affect your skin by causing the skin around the scalp and hairline to be dry.

5. AVOID SMOKING

Smoking makes your hair get thinner so if you are a smoker already, you have another reason to quit smoking.
