If there is one thing every guy hates; it’s being kept in the ‘friend zone’. That’s the world’s most hated guy zone. Every guy can testify of being kept in the friend zone by a lady they really do care about (and I am no exception); it happens to all guys.
The worst part of being in a friend zone is ‘’you never come out of the friend zone’’. You are helpless and stuck with nobody to redeem you. Ladies keep guys in the friend zone even without knowing; when someone asks them who they are to you, they say ‘’we are just friends’’; that’s the worst phrase ever. When they don’t want to date you, the best they can come up with is ‘’let’s just be friends’’.
Well, every guy hates the being in the friend zone with a lady they care about and below are some reasons why.
1. IT GIVES YOU THAT ‘LOSER’ FEELING
When you don’t win the girl of your heart, you just get that feeling that you have lost and that’s never a good feeling. Every guy wants to be the champion and that friend zone lady won’t let you be.
2. YOU ARE POWERLESS
Yep, by powerless, I mean powerless; you can’t do nothing cos you are just a friend. You can’t kiss, touch or even…you are just a friend.
3. YOU FEEL LESS SPECIAL
Why doesn’t she want me? Am I not good enough? Does she like someone better than me? Those are the feelings that come with being friend-zoned.
4. YOU START GETTING JEALOUS
When she doesn’t give you that much desired green light, then you start suspecting every other guy. You feel he’s the one taking your spot and that’s not a good thing.
5. REJECTION
Keeping a guy in the friend zone is just a friendly way of rejecting him; so he feels. He only gets one message—she doesn’t want me; so he’s dejected.
6. FEAR OF NEVER GETTING HER
When he’s kept in this hated corner (that’s the friend zone corner), he feels he might just never get his dream girl. No guy wants this; every guy wants to get his dream girl.
Note: being friends with a girl is way different from being kept in a friend zone. The former is voluntary but the latter means you are stuck there; not by your own will but hers.
Come on ladies, we hate being just friends. Say no to friend zone. Lol
