THEY ARGUE A LOT
Writers like picking your brains out. They like to argue a lot, and disagreeing is what they are known for. But don’t misunderstand this part of them; it’s just the innate need to be absolutely sure of everything manifesting itself in them. Even when they seem to pick up arguments with you, it doesn’t mean they don’t respect or care for you.
THEY STAY UP LATE
Normal people go to sleep early in the evening, but a writer is like a hustler trying to get the biggest break of their life – they’re up when everyone else is asleep, and that’s because that is when inspiration comes to them the most. They also like to work in quiet conditions, so this means you’ll probably sleep alone more often than not.
THEY’RE PESSIMISTS
This is not a shade or anything; it’s just the plain truth. Writers are ‘Thomases’ who believe in seeing nothing but the obvious and real. Even when there are pointers to the fact that things will turn out positively, most writers don’t buy it until it happens.

Most writers I know are non-conformists. They think and act in exactly how they believe is right. Even for the things you’d easily get a ‘Yes’ from someone else, a writer might say a stern ‘No’.

Most writers I know write about their environment and surroundings. They write about the things they see and observe, including the people they close to the most. If you’re amazing to them, they’ll probably write a wonderful piece about you, otherwise, they’ll still tell it all.
