Science seems to have gotten a solution to making teenage girls successful and the solution will definitely shock you.
According to researchers from the University of Essex, behind every successful woman is a nagging mom as they believe teenage girls more likely to succeed if they have pushy mothers.
The researchers believe being a pushy parent is the best way to prepare her for success as setting high standards means adolescent girls are less likely to become pregnant and suffer the setbacks in life that go with being a teenage mum.
The researchers came to this conclusion after studying 15,500 pupils in England between 2004 and 2010.
The researchers also believe parent’s expectation about the teen’s school choices was very likely a major determinant in teen’s decisions about conceiving a child or not during their teenage years.
Being a pushy parent also means your teenage girls would have more chance of going to university and are less likely to be unemployed or earn poor wages when they do get a job.
The findings were presented to the conference of the Royal Economic Society.
