Cheating is a betrayal of trust, and it’s not an offence that should be forgiven easily. When a partner decides to cheat; it isn’t a mistake, but it’s a decision that the person made.
Giving a cheating ex a second chance shouldn’t just be about how much you love that person and what you’ve shared with each other. It should be more about how much that ex has changed. In essence, any relationship that didn’t work in the past will never work in the future, except there’s CHANGE.
Change is the most important factor, as regards giving a cheating ex another chance. If change isn’t present, then that relationship will never be successful.
So, before you begin to harbour thoughts of forgiveness and acceptance, change should be the first thing you should gauge, and it isn’t just mere change, but genuine change.
