PLANNING TO FLY FOR THE FIRST TIME? YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOODS

What you eat before you get on a plane is very important to how well you survive the flight, and feel afterwards. For this, it’s necessary that you watch what you eat before you jump on a plane. The following foods are those that pose a problem.

FAST FOOD/ FRIES

They’re always tempting to eat, flying or not, but the truth is they are not easily digestible foods. If you’re going to be on a plane, especially for the first time, you should avoid fried or fast food.

ALCOHOL

Taking alcohol before you fly may seem like a way to pump up yourself for the trip, but the reverse could be what you get because of the content of alcohol. It’s a beverage, which has the ability to make you dehydrated. This can disrupt your flying

COFFEE

Coffee has caffeine, which has the same effects on you as alcohol. It’ll cause you to suffer more dehydration in rather already dry flying conditions.

RED MEAT

Red meat can be hard to digest. Fish should be a perfect substitute. Stay off red meat until you reach your destination.

BEANS

Of course, beans had to make the list. You know the feeling you get in your bowels after eating beans. It has a high concentration of gas. Imagine having to hold in fart throughout your flight duration, knowing that dropping them in the plane isn’t good for the person next to you.

OTHER CARBONATED BEVERAGES

Carbonated beverages, like soda and beer, can cause bloating. You will be very uncomfortable during your flight because your stomach will expand when the air pressure changes.

Eat safe, fly safe.
