NEO’S RANDOM THOUGHTS: FOUR CUPS… CAN’T WE STOP DRINKING FROM IT?

Another beautiful day is here and I wonder why I am still indoors by mid-day. I could not figure out why most ladies are always on the edge to make things work for by all means, even when they know that they do not have the moral impetus to justify their actions. I ponder for a while, but still could not see the ‘eureka!’ light bulb lighting above my head. Well, typical of me; I went about my business of looking for stuff to do around the house (from kitchen to bedroom to sitting room to dining room to guest room, to the kitchen again, and finally back to the sitting room then to frolic with my computer). Pheeew!

Anyway, my main reason for all the creative movements within the house finally yields some real results. I remembered a time when a friend of mine drank from the four cups of relationship twists and turns, that affected me so much that I also drank from the mere consequences of being a faithful friend. Ok, here it comes; I went ahead to visit her as I usually did, on a typical girls gist day (Friday night) but I met another friend who was a ‘He’, so I relaxed and carried on with my gist, but then I noticed something wasn’t right, the atmosphere was tensed; I then fixed my invisible antenna to get a good signal without having to ask any questions… Hehehe. I got all the info by merely listening to the unsaid words between the two. *clears throat*

A few minutes later, my friend called me to meet her outside. I responded and excused myself from our male friend. I sensed that my friend had drunk four cups of relationship bitterleaf water. I held my peace and listened to her talk.

“Honey will be here any moment and I don’t know what to do with brown sugar” I didn’t say a word. I smiled and wondered why she had to consult me; then the big one came. “Neo, I also do not think this night will be convenient for us. Everyone has to go back to their cribs” I squinted at her, but her point was clear, my own four cups of friendship aloe vera juice was served… Yuck!

Anyway, I tried severally to ask her the justification of her actions that night, but she neither stayed here nor there. I relaxed. I know that guys also face these kinds of situations, but they always, ALWAYS have a way of untangling themselves when the sensitive naked wires touch. Hmm.

My big question is why would a lady have multiple relationships and later be caught in the middle; thereby getting herself confused, irritated and even bitter? Why would she decide to drink from the four cups of relationships’ bitter leaf water? I had made a few mistakes myself and until the day ends I still couldn’t find a good reason for my previous misguided actions.

FOUR CUPS ARE NOT GOOD FOR ANY REAL RELATIONSHIP. Share your thoughts and views.
