“Love is a beautiful thing”, they say. When you love someone, you almost lose yourself and become an entirely different person. You do things you ordinarily wouldn’t do, and none of it seems odd. People may laugh at you, but because you think you’re on the right track, nothing seems out of place.
Here are some really crazy things we do in the name of love.
THEIR LIKES BECOME YOURS
When you’re in love, your partner’s likes also tickle your fancy. It may not be genuine, but who cares, it’s your partner, and pleasing them is all you care about. I know a lot of women who do never liked football, but made it their favourite sport the moment they got together with a man who likes football.
THEIR IMPERFECTIONS SEEM PERFECT
Whoever said love is about managing imperfections obviously never fell in love. When you fall in love, nothing about your partner seems out of place or unattractive. Even if they have naturally saggy body, chances are you’ll see it as firm, and well shaped.
YOU ALWAYS WANT TO PLEASE THEM
This is totally true. Love makes you want to put the feelings and wellbeing of the person that matters to you first before yours. You’re willing to go to any length, even if you have to deny yourself something really important. It usually seems crazy to people around you, but deep inside, you know it’s the best thing.
YOU WANT TO GET CLOSE TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS
One of the many ways of knowing those who see beyond the present stage of their relationship is by looking out for the way they behave around the family and friends of their partner. Typically, you’ll find them getting close so as to establish some form of relationship with these people.
