JUST FOR LAUGHS: 4 DISADVANTAGES OF MARRYING A MAN WHO COOKS GOOD

man in the kitchen cooking

You’ve probably read about the 7 AWESOME REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD DATE A MAN WHO CAN COOK, but then, you know they say if it has an advantage, chances are it also has a disadvantage. So I bring you some of the reasons why sticking with the traditional ‘kitchen illiterate’ man may not be so bad after all.

1. YOU AUTOMATICALLY HAVE YOURSELF A CRITIC

It’s bad enough that people are very critical of even those things they know little or nothing about, how much more when it’s something they’re actually very knowledgeable about? If you’re married to a man who knows so much about the kitchen, chances are you’ll fight everyday about everything you cook; if it isn’t too much salt today, it’s insufficient spice¬†tomorrow, and of course, you know how frustrating that can be as a woman. I don’t know, but I’m just saying, maybe you’re better off with a man who can’t even boil water, eh?

2. FORGET ABOUT EATING OUT…EVER!

It’s common knowledge that most men who know how to cook very well are traditionalists, who believe in homemade food and its importance. So unlike the guy who doesn’t know anything about cooking, the guy who is great at it will almost certainly not be interested in eating out. So don’t even hope on having romantic nights out at any other restaurant, unless it’s in your kitchen.

3. YOU CAN’T QUITE IMPRESS HIM WITH FOOD

Sometimes, you want to ask your man a favour, so the quickest route to successfully doing that would be to cook him his favorite dish or meal, after all they say the best way to a man’s heart is via his belly, but then, imagine the man in question is a great cook too; chances are he doesn’t have a favorite food, since he’s good at them all, and peradventure he does have one, I can bet my money no one can cook it better than him, so what’s the point trying?

4. YOU HAVE COMPETITION

Most Mothers like to cook and feed their children, and hate it when their children find anyone else’s food better than theirs, so imagine you have a husband who can cook very well…good luck handling the competition.

NB: This is only meant to make you laugh, there’s no seriousness to it, as the topic suggests. Whoever you are and whoever you choose to marry, it’s nobody’s business. There are couples who can both cook, and don’t have any of those issues in their families.

Hope you found it a good read?
